Wayne Thomas

Wayne Thomas lives with his wife Cora in Washington and is Senior Pastor of Washington Christian Centre . His wife Cora has ably supported Wayne for many years in Pastoral and Apostolic ministry. They have two children, Elizabeth who lives in Houghton-le-Spring with her husband Paul and their daughter Grace, and David who, along with his wife Alex, lives and supports the work in Washington as the Local Pastor.

Wayne and Cora hail from South Wales. Brought up in the same Pentecostal Church, Wayne's first major calling was as the Associate Pastor at the Elim Church in Caerphilly. The mid-eighties saw them pastor in South Yorkshire. In August 1988 Wayne was inducted as the Pastor at a local church in Ambleside, South Lakes.

The work grew substantially, with over 1200 churches overseen in Africa and Asia. Wayne has written his lifestory "A Fool by Heavenly Compulsion 1957 - 2000" and has just completed volume 2. During the winter of 2007 / spring 2008 pastoral manuals on Eve and the Serpent in Genesis 3 and the life story of Joshua were also completed. These 3 works will be available imminently. Wayne's life and ministry demonstrates that we are what we are by the grace of God.
